None of this mattered to me because I used good speakers and it seemed like the quality one was way better than my brothers HDMI projector. As with any projector it does have fan noise. Worked great even on the light gray painted room we had.
I used it in our old place the spare room for parties and movie night. Bought this from a school offer for much less than 5 grand. This is an older model that retailed for 5,500 when it was released.
This does not have HDMI but it has rca AVI, s-video, and computer inputs. This is really bright compared to newer model's. Here to download manual.
