Details:
Missing the front bezel and one control button cover. No further testing was done. These started coming off warranty this month last year 3 year warranty and this one could be worth a fortune in parts. All functions are also accessible via the included remote.
Buyer cannot open the unit, attempt to repair it, then if unsuccessful, return it. There are circuit boards inside this projector, that cost by themselves. The menu functions normally, and we did test the HDMI 1 input, and it did accept and output an HDMI signal. Once it's opened, and messed with, it is not the same projector any longer.
The sale is final. This projector is sold as is. The lens alone, for this model retails new for over also includes an expensive factory remote.
If you own this model, and plan to keep it for several more years, you might consider investing in this one, as a parts unit. This model was manufactured from Feb. It still costs new.
We assume but cannot guarantee all necessary parts for this projector are in place, as it does power up, and lights up, and produces the 3 colors red, green and blue. It comes with an oem Sony lamp, with the lamp counter showing 11 hours use.
The red, blue LCD are close to convergence, but as you can see from the pics, the green is off.
It is out of convergence. This projector is currently not fully functional.
Lens focus, shift, and zoom work perfect. Sony vpl vw1000es 4k 3d projector. The projector will have 3 tamper stickers placed over 3 of the case screw holes.
It should require all 3 colors to be accurate, for the background to be blue, as it is suppose to be.
One repair at a service center, could cost you two or three times the price of this unit. We ran the projector for 2 hours, and there were no temperature errors, or overheating.
