So the projector has a total of hours on it. The oem filter was inadequate. I replaced the original lamp when it had 1077 hours on. The only issue with projector is horizontal banding if left plugged in and not used frequently.

I am selling a Viewsonic PRO8100 lcd projector. I am only selling it because bought a Sony hw40es. The PRO8100 is known for being one of sharpest 1080p projectors. If you purchase this between those dates I won't be able to ship it out until after currently has its second lamp installed which 824 hours on.

The only scratches I can find are around HDMI ports. It is in excellent condition.

It has never mounted to a ceiling mount. This is a known issue with model projector but easily correctable. It is in the original box so can be safely shipped but will very expensive.

If you aren't going to use it often I highly recommend plugging into a timer. I am including that original lamp. If I do have to ship it will only the lower 48 states. It has the newest firmware installed that corrects slow iris problem original had.

I also installed a extra heap filter to keep dust out. It worked because doesn't have any dust blobs. The Sony offers 3d and is brighter but doesn't have a powered lens like PRO8100 does. The PRO8100 is also much sharper than hw40es in my opinion.

I have a perfect rating here and take very good care of my electronics. It originally listed for so has a great lens. It was still working but had dimmed some. It is working perfectly and still throws a great image.

With the timer installed there is no horizontal banding. I only used it a few times month so installed timer that would cut the power between am. I am guessing it will cost over 50 to ship insured.

I had this shelf mounted projecting 18' onto a 120 screen.
