Mint condition Jvc dla RS40U that looks and performs as new with only 295 hours on the lamp.

I'm referring here specifically to panel alignment, which unlike with flat panel TVs is a concern unique to front projectors and as i've learned from personal experience varies significantly from one example to another within the same model range. This is the 3rd projector i've owned and i've long since realized that picture quality is, yes, a function of a projector's specs capabilities, but it is equally, if not more a function of how well any particular example was put together. As for why i'm reluctantly letting go of such a fine example of this model, I can assure you I wouldn't be doing so were it not for a house move and the loss of a home theatre space.

In other words, not all rs40 projectors are created equally, and getting a 'good' one is as much a luck of the draw as anything else.
