This is great item for someone with experience in projectors. My hunch is that the government agency who had it somehow overheated unit. This unit was highly rated in all the reviews I read. The unit currently turns on, goes to warm up bulb and engage fans then off.

However this unit which had minimal use just stopped working. Then you reset it by unplugging the power chord for a few minutes but does same thing.

Original retail just under 2,000. The unit looks like new. I always dreamed of a theater room in the lower level my home but quality projectors cost so much. As such the unit is sold and should be considered parts only even though it may repairable.

I just don't know. This might be an easy fix or unit just become parts. You also turn it on with the remote but then turns off. I wish had the knowledge and skills to repair it myself.
